Mulberry silkworm, Bombyx mori, is a multi, bi and uni voltine Lepidopteran Sericiniid that feeds on mulberry host plant, Morus alba. The silkworm is completely domesticated and is reared indoor. The cocoons are white and yellow in colour. About 90-95% of the Raw Silk produced the world over is from mulberry.
